Achieving Significant Milestones Utilizing Groundwater Recirculation

After just 16 months of operation, ETEC’s ISD™ groundwater recirculation system has recirculated over 2 million gallons of water, achieving 99% reduction in target chlorinated VOC’s in the source area, while maintaining hydraulic control.

Active injection and extraction to strategic locations throughout the site help eliminate the migration of the plume towards the adjacent river. The system remains operational through the originally designed 24 months of operation, to ensure any minor remaining impacts are addressed.
