Last week, we partnered with UES to tackle a challenging site in Florida’s Panhandle, where a tight geologic formation and contaminant mass beneath a building posed significant hurdles. Traditional injection methods had previously led to surfacing, but our team turned challenges into opportunities.
Using ETEC’s cutting-edge CarBstrate™ product, we executed a successful in-situ bioremediation strategy, enhanced by the innovative ENRX Vertebrae™ horizontal well system. Installed just 6 feet below grade—matching the depth to groundwater—this approach allowed us to precisely target the contaminant mass under the building without any surfacing. Nearby monitoring wells confirmed effective influence, marking a win for both environmental impact and operational efficiency.
